Tomorrow!!!

Tomorrow, guys. Tomorrow is the reunion! We are so excited to see everyone!!!
If anyone has any last minute questions just text or call me: Heidi - 801-628-9766
It looks like the lake is all booked up for the 6-7pm session on Friday. Sorry, folks! There are some openings for the 4:30pm session on Friday, though. You can pay with cash or check when you get there.
The planning committee will be arriving at the camp at 2:00pm tomorrow. If anyone wants to come that early, you are welcome to do so, otherwise come when you wish.
Remember, no shorts, tank tops, open toed shoes, or swimming suits allowed on the lake and challenge courses. You won’t be allowed to participate if you don’t have the proper attire(for safety reasons).
I have asked if people will be turned away from the camp for wearing clothing against the rules and they said no. They just can’t participate in those two activities. ðŸ˜‰
Don’t forget to bring bedding(example: sleeping bag, pillow, blanket)including some sort of bedroll for the bunk beds. There are NO MATTRESSES on the beds.
Don’t forget BUG SPRAY! They do have ticks up there, so that’s another good reason to wear long pants and closed toed shoes.
They provide firewood for the fire pits, if anyone wants to cook S’Mores or Hobo Dinner’s, etc.
There is PLENTY of refrigerator space for everyone. They have a HUGE walk-in fridge and two regular fridges at each campsite.
When you get up there, you will stop at an entry booth with couple missionaries(there will be a bunch of flags along the road). Tell them you are going to a reunion at camp SARIAH. They will direct you on how to get there. It is a really big place with a lot of campsites so it could be easy to get lost.
We look forward to seeing everyone! And meeting family/spouses/kids whom we have never met!
We really feel Grandma and Grandpa Alford are smiling down on us from Heaven and happy we are trying to strengthen our family bonds and introduce the next generations to their Alford family cousins. We love you all!

Wednesday, June 13, 2018

Hi, all! This will be the webpage where we will distribute all information regarding the upcoming Alford Family Reunion and hopefully future reunions as well.

This year's reunion will be held at the Heber Valley Camp near Heber City, Utah, on Friday, August 3rd (after 4:00pm) and Saturday, August 4th (leaving at 5:00pm).

The cost to attend the reunion is $10 per person or $50 per family. Such a great deal! The decision to stay overnight is up to you, but the cost will remain the same. We will be using the money to pay for the use of the cabins, pavilion, etc, and to pay for food, activities for the kids/crafts, and other supplies.

The cabins sleep a large number of people, so it will be a "one big, happy family" sleeping arrangement. There are wood bunk beds, which DO NOT have mattresses or bed coverings. You will need to bring your own foam mattress pad of some sort along with a pillow and sleeping bag.

Payments need to be received by FRIDAY JULY 13TH  and can be made by check, PayPal or Venmo.

Mail Checks to:
Alayna Weston
3930 W 2200 N
Plain City UT 84404

Both PayPal and Venmo are: nataliegreen20@gmail.com

Please, when paying, state who you are, how many tickets you are purchasing, and if you are staying the night or not, so we can keep things organized. Thanks!

We will be having a group pot luck lunch (hot dogs and hamburgers provided, but please bring a side or dessert to share) on Saturday afternoon along with a raffle! If you have something or some service you want to donate to be raffled off, please bring it. Raffle tickets will cost $1.00 a ticket or $5.00 for six, so bring your cash! We are going to have some great stuff! All raffle proceeds will go into an account to fund future Alford Family Reunions.

If you would like a printed Invitation sent to your home, and have not already left your info on The Alford Family Reunion Facebook page, please CLICK HERE and fill out the form and we will mail an invitation to you.
